wealthX Portfolio Model

wealthX investment methodology is based on value investing. Value investing is an investment strategy that involves picking stocks that appear to be trading for less than their intrinsic or book value. Value investors actively ferret out stocks they think the stock market is underestimating. They believe the market overreacts to good and bad news, resulting in stock price movements that do not correspond to a company's long-term fundamentals. The overreaction offers an opportunity to profit by buying stocks at discounted prices - on sale.

Warren Buffett is probably the best-known value investor today, but there are many others, including Benjamin Graham (Buffet's professor and mentor), David Dodd, Charlie Munger, Christopher Browne (another Graham student), and billionaire hedge-fund manager, Seth Klarman.

wealthX algorithms use well known (e.g. p/e, profit margin, ROI) and some proprietary criteria to filter out securities that have had healthy fundamentals for the past 5 years to determine best performing companies. Next the algorithm estimates the fair value of the company security, using quantitative methods of valuing a company's stock price such as dividend discount model, cash flow discount model and few other models. Safety margin of 10% is subtracted from fair value to arrive at the final max stock price at which or below the stock is a “buy”.

Security Selection Disclosures

The securities recommended in Client accounts are publicly traded companies and are part of Russell 3000 index. Although wealthX believes its selection process identifies securities with high liquidity, wealthX selection process does not guarantee the quality of a particular security or that it will 1) be profitable, 2) trade in a liquid fashion.

wealthX reserves the right to change at any time the selection of securities that it recommends if, in wealthX sole discretion, any security does not meet requirements for continued listing on the platform.

Stocks are only one type of securities product, and wealthX generally does not make recommendations to Clients other types of securities products that an investor may wish to consider as part of his or her overall financial plan.

ANY COMPARISONS TO INDICES ARE PROVIDED FOR ILLUSTRATIVE PURPOSES ONLY. BECAUSE OF THE DIFFERENCES BETWEEN THE CLIENT ALLOCATIONS AND ANY INDICES SHOWN, WEALTHX CAUTIONS INVESTORS THAT NO INDEX IS DIRECTLY COMPARABLE TO THE PERFORMANCE SHOWN SINCE EACH INDEX HAS ITS OWN UNIQUE RESULTS AND VOLATILITY, AND SUCH INDICES, IF SHOWN, SHOULD NOT BE RELIED UPON AS AN ACCURATE COMPARISON
